The four-piece, whose debut single Carry You is already at No.9 in the UK iTunes charts following its release on Monday, have their own covers on the new issue of Fiasco magazine.
In the accompanying interview, Jaymi, 23, talks about their hopes to follow in the footsteps of One Direction and The Wanted by breaking America. He said: ‘There’s a big things for boy bands there at the minute and hopefully we can jump on that train and be successful as well.’
However, the group are adamant their singing will be the main focus of the ground, not dance moves like many of their boy band predecessors. Jaymi explained: ‘We really want to focus on voices. We’re all individual and we want to showcase what we’re good at.’
JJ added: ‘On X Factor we did a lot of ballads so we want to go out there and show we’re not about ballads, we can do something more upbeat.’
